Purpose: To rotate loaded and unloaded trailers into dumping area/ weight incoming loads in a 30 minute window/ maintain USDA and company policies and procedures/ set up for beginning startup / bind and unbind loads Procedures: Essential 1. Each day before starting the truck visually checks the oil (By dip stick) and water level. In the event that the oil / water are low notify the truck shop. 2. Fill each truck with fuel and weigh prior to each start up shift. 3. Perform inspection before operating truck at the beginning of each shift. Fill out inspection sheet. 4. Connect (Hook up to) trailer to truck. 5. Check the area for pedestrians, pull and/or take trailer to the scales to be weighed. 6. After trailer has been weighed move trailer to unloading area and unbind truck (make ready for production) 7. Connect (Hook up to) an empty trailer, bind cages and move trailer to designated area. 8. Disconnect the empty trailer. 9. Repeat any steps listed above through out the period of the day. May be required to perform other job duties as required and deemed necessary by supervisor. Notify supervisor of any problems with equipment and/or processes. Work is performed outside. This is a high paced demanding position requiring regulation’s to be meat on a strict bases while maintaining a steady flow of product to the production lines attendance is of the upmost importance
