About The Position

The Waste Water Treatment (WWT) Operator is responsible for ph adjustment, the keeping of daily and weekly records, metal treatment, and process water treatment. The WWT Operator will also perform general maintenance of boilers and will be responsible for 5S and keeping boiler room and equipment clean. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, a strong plus.

Requirements

• Must have good analytical skills, good written, and verbal communication skills
• Must have a record of dependability and good attendance
• Must have some mechanical ability
• Must be able to trouble shoot problems
• Must be self-motivated
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all operations of the Waste Water Treatment (WWT) Operator: adjusting pH, daily records, metals treatment, process water treatment
• Perform general maintenance for boilers: preventative, general cleaning, switching, etc.); in addition, create daily and weekly check sheets that are followed and documented appropriately with modifications as needed
• Responsible for 5S and keeping boiler room and all equipment clean
• General maintenance for boilers and WWT
• Assist in building maintenance activities (lights, weeds control, etc.)
• Additional duties may be required as needed by Parker Trutec and our customers.
