Requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment while following all safety protocols
- Work effectively in a team and communicate clearly across departments
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain and repair equipment
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work weekends/off-shifts
- Valid driver’s license required
- wastewater experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment system in compliance with NYSDEC SPDES permit requirements
- Monitor pond levels, manage discharge, and follow spray field programs
- Perform lab testing, process control, and microscopic analysis of bacteria
- Maintain pumps, pipelines, and air systems; complete routine sampling and inspections
- Execute preventative maintenance and manage parts inventory
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, GMPs, and quality protocols while supporting production operations
