Waste Water Lab Technician - 1st Shift
About The Position
As a Waste Water Lab Technician, you’ll collect wastewater and utility samples across multiple process points, perform laboratory testing, and compile results to help maintain control parameters and support regulatory compliance. You’ll trend and communicate results to the Utility and WW techs, contribute to proactive problem-solving and process improvements, and manage the archiving of quality and environmental documentation. You may also support related environmental monitoring and other tasks associated with wastewater and utility services.
Requirements
- Comfort working in a wastewater/industrial environment (indoor and outdoor)
- Ability to follow safety and environmental requirements
- Attention to detail for sampling, calculations, and recordkeeping
- Basic lab skills and chemistry/math fundamentals for treatment-related testing.
- A high school diploma/GED is required
Nice To Haves
- an associate/technical degree in environmental, water, or lab sciences
