About The Position

Operate the steam boiler, including daily functional checks and preventative maintenance. Operate and maintain the waste water system in compliance with site and environmental standards. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on boiler, waste water , and utility equipment. Operate, inspect, and maintain pumps to ensure safe and reliable performance. Document work performed and communicate system or equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager. Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures for utility systems.

Requirements

• Experience working with industrial boilers, waste water systems, or plant utilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must hold one of the following certifications (If you hold both, compensation for this role will be higher) : Maryland T4 Waste Water Operator or Industrial Wastewater Works Operator, Class 2 Maryland Grade 3 Stationary Engineer
