To effectively maintain the Resort’s waste and recycling processes . Participate in delivering a positive impact of promoting the environmental and economic benefits of the environmental sustainability program and carbon reduction plan for the Resort. Key Accountabilities Responsible for the c ollect ion , sort ing , and process ing of various types of waste materials, including recyclables and general waste . Operate specialized waste management equipment and machinery safely and efficiently . Ensure all waste management activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Main Responsibilities To ensure a safe and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of waste and recyclables throughout the Resort. Support the waste and recycling operation . Enacts in the efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of all waste and recyclables generated onsite. Ensure World Class Standards are delivered and exceeded involving customer service with other departments and guest interaction. Oversee the daily operation, inspection, and general maintenance of the truck route vehicle during assigned shifts, ensuring reliable performance and strict compliance with all park speed and safety regulations. Responsible for the general upkeep of the waste compactors and a vertical strike down cardboard baler utilized during the assigned shift. Responsible for the general upkeep of the waste and recycling containers throughout the resort from a quality perspective. Strictly adhere to departmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations related to the transportation and operation of job-specific equipment, as well as the proper handling, disposal, and recycling of waste materials.
