LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium ion polymer batteries and packs for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications. The EH&S waste handlers are tasked daily with a number of responsibilities ranging from picking up the recycling throughout every area in the entire building, processing damaged cells, handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and preparing them to be shipped out so that the material meets RCRA and DOT standards.
