About The Position

Operates under the supervision of the Service Shop Manager and is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the exterior of diesel trucks and equipment. Additionally, the technician may assist with minor maintenance tasks and inspections to support the overall upkeep of the dealership's fleet.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• One (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience or education preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Washes and details trucks, trailers, and company vehicles
• Keeps offices, building, grounds, and line shop facilities clean and orderly
• Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas
• Maintains a neat and orderly yard and shop area
• Aids with loading and unloading equipment
• Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations
• May make minor maintenance repairs
• Notifies supervisor of needed repairs
• Other duties as assigned
