About The Position

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams. The Truck Washer position is a night shift role (Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM) responsible for washing and cleaning trucks and other vehicles, machinery, and equipment while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. The role requires teamwork and the ability to perform various duties to support the company effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 6 months experience in warehouse and/or production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Use pressure hose equipment, metering soap and water to wash tractor cabs, trailers inside and out as required.
  • Vacuum cabs, clean windows and windshields, remove trash and clean inside trailer boxes as necessary.
  • Maintain wash bay areas in a clean and orderly condition and perform general housekeeping duties as required.
  • May pressure wash other equipment and areas as needed.
  • Keep loading dock, garage, and other areas of the OPCO (Fuel Island, dock doors, outside walls of facility, etc.) clear and clean as required.
  • Assist other employees and perform other similar or related duties as directed or instructed.
  • At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
