About The Position

The Wash Technician is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and maintaining components and assemblies to meet company quality standards. This role supports production by ensuring all parts are free of contaminants prior to assembly, inspection, or shipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment is a plus
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Clean and wash metal and manufactured components using designated equipment, solvents, and processes
• Inspect parts for cleanliness, defects, and damage prior to release to the next production stage
• Operate and maintain wash systems, including parts washers, tanks, and drying equipment
• Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use
• Properly label, organize, and transport cleaned parts within the facility
• Monitor and maintain fluid levels, filtration systems, and waste disposal processes
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Support general shop cleanliness and 5S initiatives
• Assist other production or warehouse functions as needed
