About The Position

Working under general supervision, Wash Technician I is responsible for cleaning components and assemblies through hand clean and equipment assisted processes. This role also involves performing visual inspections to ensure product quality and adhering to safety and production standards. Schedule: Swing M-F, 1pm-9:30pm. (Will train for first couple months on Day: M-F 9am-5:30pm)

Requirements

  • Read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Able to sit and or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to retain information.
  • Must have legible handwriting.
  • Dependability: Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
  • Take responsibility for own actions.
  • Identify process improvements.
  • Requires minimal supervision to perform everyday tasks.
  • Demonstrates strong independent thinking with problem solving skills.
  • Support company/management decisions.

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Due to ITAR Requirements, all PacAero employees must be classified as US Persons and are required to show proof upon hire. U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 of the ITAR: U.S. Person means a person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with all employees.

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to your lead or supervisor.
  • Must be able to retain information and show continued progression of growth towards Level II.
  • The ability to find and interpret Engineering Drawings to correctly determine requirements.
  • Develop strong understanding of the quality requirements of individual components and the finished product.
  • Learn to use the correct tools, equipment, Shop Processes (SP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as required.
  • In-process visual inspections under a microscope to confirm compliance with quality standards.
  • Understand and adhere to parts handling best practices.
  • Perform wash processes as directed by the Shop Process documents, Operation text, and drawing requirements.
  • Able to detect failure of equipment and/or process result.
  • Complete routine maintenance of equipment as assigned.
  • Complete tasks in a reasonably timely manner.
