About The Position

Perform all types of tank cleaning, both external and internal, to include steam, spin out, flush, brighten, hand wash, and clean. Maintain the wash rack appearance to include daily cleaning of the entire facility (inside and outside), restocking and restrooms. Follow and understand MSDS sheets and instruct others of the same. Maneuver tanks in and out of the wash rack. Pick up and deliver tanks from customers. Other duties assigned. Requirements

  • Troubleshooting: Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
  • Repairing: Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
  • Communicating: Conveying information to others in an effective manner. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Active Learning: Understanding the implication of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Mathematics: Ability to solve simple equations; ability to use mathematics to solve problems.

  • Coordination: Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.
  • OSHA approved steel toed safety shoes required from the first day of this job.
  • Due to the nature of the work performed, this position requires the wear of long-sleeve shirt and pants.
  • Additionally, the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn, depending on task being performed.
