About The Position

Summary:

The primary function of this position is to ensure clean part assemblies are staged for pre-assembly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Receives direction from shop lead on the priority of work.
Receives parts from Tear Down
Wash and Blast parts ensuring cleanliness
Transport parts to pre-assembly
Clean out scrap bin and empty trash at work station as needed.
Inform maintenance when machinery breakdown occurs.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop

Requirements

• Basic automotive or mechanical skills
• Familiarity and/or use of power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
