About The Position

Join our team as a Server at Hacienda, where your primary focus will be to ensure that our Guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to being 'Guest Obsessed' while having fun in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve greeting Guests, serving food and drinks, and creating a fiesta atmosphere that keeps them coming back for more!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must provide responsible alcohol service.
• Verify identification and age requirements of Guests.
• Must be able to obtain a liquor license in the state of Indiana.
• Handle Guests' payments by either providing change or processing credit/gift card payments.
• Able to operate the POS system.
• Ability to lift, balance, and carry large trays of food and beverage.
• Pre-Bus tables.
• Memorize the menu and recommend appetizers, entrees, and drinks.

Nice To Haves

• Prior foodservice experience, especially serving, is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests promptly with 'Margaritas today?' and provide fresh Chips and Salsa.
• Card Guests under the age of 40.
• Provide a FIESTA EXPERIENCE for our Guests!
• Serve our Guests quickly and efficiently.
• Be a Team player.
• Make our Guests say 'WOW…That was a fun, wacky, unexpected, unforgettable, experience!
• Deliver Guests' food hot and fresh from the kitchen.
• 'Read' the guest and deliver the experience they want on this visit.
• Suggestive Sell Specials and Extras.
• Perform Sidework & Cleaning duties.
• Maintain a Clean and Well-Stocked Area.

Benefits

• Training will take 6-8 shifts before serving tables independently.
• You will be paid $10.00/hr. for the first 30 hours.
