About The Position

The Warranty Tech Services Manager at Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is responsible for leading a team of Product Service Managers to enhance customer support and manage product service strategies. This role focuses on customer complaint management, engineering support, and ensuring effective service architecture for both internal and external customers. The manager will also coordinate with various teams to reduce downtime and improve product performance throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, or Operations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in problem solving methodologies (8D/A3/6-Sigma).
  • Experience in dealership and repair facility operations, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Specific product knowledge of clutches, transmissions, and other CV products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the team of Product Service Managers.
  • Define and develop service support architecture for customer needs.
  • Provide technical input to engineering teams for serviceable products.
  • Develop and update service support materials such as manuals and guides.
  • Execute support strategies for product life and drive product improvements.
  • Track and support field test initiatives for new product development.
  • Coordinate service support strategies with internal and external customers.
  • Communicate status updates and issue resolutions to management and appropriate groups.
  • Define and develop service support architecture for programs, campaigns, and recalls.
  • Utilize systematic processes to manage product performance corrective actions.
  • Provide technical assistance during customer visits to understand product issues.
  • Act as a communication channel between Eaton and ECJV for field issues.
