PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive and track all warranty return parts from technicians. Catalog all parts as they come into warranty return area. Communicate with warranty departments to determine part return requisitions. Take pictures of the returned part and upload to the warranty picture server. Package and create shipping labels for parts return. Create and maintain a warranty tracker with parts information, tracking number, return date and any other relevant information. Ship parts to manufacturer. Discard returned parts that don’t require shipping to manufacturer. Label and shelf warranty return parts. Ensure all warranty parts are rotated in 30- or 60-days intervals. Communicate effectively with manufacturer regarding warranty parts. Ensure warranty parts are logged and shipped in a timely manner. Provide coverage and/or assistance for other service & warranty staff if needed. Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires ability to hear and speak. Requires the ability to work outside of normal business hours or on weekends to meet deadlines on occasion. Requires prolonged sitting for up to 8 hours. Requires ability to climb or balance, kneel or stoop occasionally. Require ability to safely operate equipment with or without assistance. Requires ability to visually observes the conditions of surroundings. Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items between 20 and 55lbs often. Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures on occasion.
