Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a Service Department (preferably in a lead or management position) strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise the Warranty Administrators.
  • Assist the Warranty team with processing all warranty claims by next business day following RO close date.
  • Review charge backs and short pay claims with Warranty Supervisor and Service Manager prior to write-offs.
  • Establish and manage compliance with set procedures and guidelines to ensure that the payments are timely and comply with all applicable manufacturer policies.
  • Perform Warranty audits.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report monthly manufacturer warranty trends; cost per repair reports to avoid future manufacturer audits for the company.
  • Manage, develop, and improve the warranty system, installation, development, and maintenance.
  • Manage and initiate dealer and internal systems training.
  • Directly responsible for hiring, performance management, coaching, and distribution and work review of Warranty staff.
