About The Position

The Warranty Analyst II at The Toro Company plays a crucial role in the administration of warranty processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of warranty claims. This position involves overseeing the processing of warranty claims, managing vendor recovery, and handling the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) process. The individual will be responsible for warranty claim review, technical claim analysis, quality vendor recovery analysis, and providing critical warranty support. The role is dedicated to maintaining claim data integrity, conducting recovery analysis, and implementing strategies for warranty cost avoidance and reduction. In this position, you will assist the Warranty Analyst I in analyzing and processing warranty claims to ensure they are accurate and processed in a timely manner, adhering to Warranty and Policy Procedure parameters. You will communicate with channel partners through the claims system to facilitate accurate claim submissions, which includes providing appropriate diagnostics, repair sequences, and standard repair time usage. Additionally, you will support channel partners via phone, email, and other communication methods regarding warranty processes and system assistance. The role also involves creating and maintaining warranty-related training materials and self-help tools, as well as supporting the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures related to warranty processes. You will conduct in-depth audits of warranty claims and channel partners using warranty reports and analytics, and administer the vendor recovery program for your assigned business unit. This includes identifying eligible parts for recovery, streamlining the part return process, and coordinating requests with both internal and external customers. Moreover, you will manage regular vendor recovery submissions, apply credits from vendors, investigate new recovery opportunities, and maintain strong working relationships with vendors. The position requires you to ensure the proper return of parts through the RGA process, monitor warranty system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with the I.S. Team to resolve them. You will also be responsible for maintaining warranty system tables, generating reports using Toro's reporting tool, and providing training and direction to other department personnel.
