About the position
The Warranty Admin at Fury Motors is responsible for processing warranty claims and ensuring all related documentation is accurate and complete. This role requires a strong background in customer service and automotive experience, focusing on maintaining service and customer records while keeping up with factory recalls and warranty requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, submits, and follows up on warranty claims.
- Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
- Keeps abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.
- Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly.
- Assists with body shop warranty claims and follows up on outstanding claims.
- Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments.
- Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.
- Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Highly organized and eagerness to improve.
- Willingness to take initiative.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
