About The Position
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Pack/weigh yarn returned from Tufting Department and use computer to enter information for tickets to be printed.
Requirements
- Stand for at least 8 hours.
- Climb on and off lift several times per day.
- Withstand exposure to changes in both temperature and humidity must be able to work around dust and lint.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, speak, and hear
Responsibilities
- Pack yarn into a cardboard box or tray arrangement
- Check tube labels for correct lot and component.
- Use a computer to print the case labels.
- Changing strapping and stretch wrap (must have assistance of another employee when getting material and loading)
- Use a forklift move material from staging to packing area.
- Keep work area clean.
