About The Position

The WARM Pantry Staff - Dry Stocker position at Wise Area Relief Mission involves managing the inventory and organization of dry food items within the pantry. The role is essential for ensuring that food items are properly stocked, organized, and made available for clients in need. Staff will assist with deliveries, maintain cleanliness, and support clients during their shopping experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to and over 50 pounds
• Ability to effectively communicate and work well with a wide variety of individuals from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to problem solve and make good decisions
• Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
• Respect confidentiality of each client

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and donations of food items
• Stock dry shelves
• Keep Pantry Manager up to date on food being moved to distribution area
• Keep inventory of all items in storage area
• Move dry food to distribution area
• Assist clients in shopping area if needed
• Clean and organize work area
• Break down boxes
• Put trash in dumpster
• Sort incoming donations
• Perform any additional tasks as requested by management
