About The Position

LMI is currently seeking a Wargaming and Table Top Exercise (TTX) Specialist to support wargames, TTXs, and experimentation activities for the USTRANSCOM J/4/5/7 Strategic Plans, Policy, Logistics, and War-Fighting Development Directorate at Scott AFB, IL. Requirements

  • Experience and background in Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Strategy, Governance, Project Leadership
  • Understanding of wargame design and professional wargaming; wargame certification (desired)
  • Three years of senior staff level experience (JS, Service Headquarters, Major Command, Agency, and/or CCMD level experience)
  • Masters with 4 years of experience; Bachelors with 6 years of experience
  • Understanding of USTRANSCOM issues and priorities
  • Experience with and understanding of DoW Joint Planning and Operations; or Joint Force Development and Design
  • Strong analytic ability, presentation development, and communications skills
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (preferred). Ability to obtain TS/SCI (required)

Responsibilities

  • This position will support the administration, designing, developing, coordinating, and executing wargames, TTXs, and related experimentation activities at the combatant command level.
  • This includes developing a wargame event and concept plan, defining purpose, vision, goals and objectives, design of scenarios, development of mechanics for play, development of tools for resolution of in-game actions, and conducting after action activities including reports and analysis.
