About The Position

These positions are set to start in Summer 2026. As a dynamic member of Tyson's Transportation or Warehousing operations teams, these roles provide comprehensive experience in operational support and data analytics, coupled with exposure to procurement functions. Transportation Strategy Intern: You will assist in ensuring customer service within the Transportation Ops team, communicating with drivers, customers, fleet, sales, and claims. Responsibilities include creating ad hoc reports, performing administrative tasks, and potentially supporting load planning under the supervision of the regional lead. This role offers valuable insights into leadership and problem solving and opportunities for networking across various business units. Warehousing Operations Intern: As part of the Warehousing Operations Intern role, you will utilize data analytics and problem solving skills to support warehousing operations. This hands-on experience will enable you to contribute to data-driven decision-making processes and gain practical experience at the intersection of warehousing and analytics.

Requirements

  • Current junior or senior with at least one year remaining; preferred majors include Supply Chain, Business, Animal Science, or related fields.
  • Previous work experience in any field is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with familiarity in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Resume must state your expected graduation date and your area of study.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Willingness to engage with people.
