About The Position

The Warehousing Specialist at ITT Inc. is responsible for fulfilling customer sales orders through efficient shipping and receiving operations. This role involves auditing shipping documentation, verifying order quantities, and ensuring the quality of items received and shipped. The position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The specialist will also provide training support for shipping and receiving activities and assist with inventory management.

Requirements

• 1 Year warehousing experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Access, and Word.
• Experience with AS400 / BPCS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for fulfilling customers' sales orders through the shipping and receiving operation.
• Provides training support for all shipping and receiving activities.
• Receives and unloads freight both manually and/or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Responsible for packing orders according to customer requirements.
• Checks shipping documentation for accuracy and verifies quantity for each order.
• Ability to be flexible in ECS packing and Kitting support R&O.
• Ability to support month end close as needed.
• Visually inspects the quality of items received and shipped for each order.
• Retrieves product from inventory to process orders and replenishes stock using the company's inventory management system.
