Warehouse Inventory Control Clerks perform tasks needed to complete specific projects while maintaining a high level of integrity including picking orders, organizing inventory, receiving shipments, cleaning, and other warehousing functions. They are responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, clean, packing products away, and updating BuyLU. They perform an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing, and retrieving stock. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks orders and investigates problems. They perform physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to BuyLU. Receives, unpacks, and re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves and rows. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. Performs routine duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers. May guide and train student employees performing related work as appropriate to the area of operation. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Provide clear spoken and written information to supervisors and managers regarding the status of situations or orders. Cooperate with peers, managers, and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies. Checks the accuracy of computer printouts, reports, and calculations. Ensures that work is carried out to specification.
