About The Position

Primary Responsibilities: Follow all quality, health, safety, and environmental programs. Operates a variety of equipment (including forklifts, side-loaders, powered and unpowered lifts) to load, unload and move product and materials Operate hand tools in crate/ container building To maintain control of paperwork and related documents and processes those documents in a timely manner. To handle other material handling functions such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking. To complete in a timely manner the shipment of product to meet the customer’s needs. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Operation of forklift
Hand tools
Computer skills
High school diploma with minimum of one year work experience in a shipping and receiving position
Internal promotion with minimum technical work experience at manager’s discretion
Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to Management.
Adheres to all HSE requirements.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Working hours vary based upon shift assigned and may include adjusted and/or lengthened work schedules requiring overtime to ensure timely completion of essential logistic functions.
