About The Position

Works under the supervision of Supervisor, and is responsible for the overall management of the warehouse process by ensuring proper execution of plans and procedures in conformance with the standards related to SEQDCH.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of WMS systems such as SEEDS, PDS and High Jump
  • Minor Troubleshooting of systems and equipment
  • Ability to evaluate and complete quality checks and document results using data base collection system.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to increase efficiency and satisfy customer needs
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Leadership and Team Building
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 3 years preferred Manufacturing Process or related field
  • At least High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Basic Manufacturing Skills Core Certificate
  • Career Readiness Certificate (Silver or Above)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain and orderly warehouse using FIFO and 5S principles along with the SEQDCH mindset
  • Prioritizes work satisfying internal customers, external customers and suppliers needs
  • Prepares and execute plans based on production schedule, delivery schedule and outbound orders
  • Monitors and confirms all start-up and lockdown procedures are completed daily
  • Monitors and checks operator’s compliance on standard operating procedures (SOP), FMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan and other related standards in performing their assigned jobs.
  • Initiate and facilitate countermeasures for continuous improvement
  • Monitor proper handling and usage of forklifts and equipment, tools and support materials, factory supplies and other utilities to maximize useful life.
  • Leads improvement activities related to SEQDC including 5S using tools such as Quality Circles, TPM, and small group activities
  • Assist the Trainer in conducting on-the-job training (OJT) to his subordinates to upgrade competencies and become multi-skilled workers.
  • Conducts daily JSA and Safety Topics at the beginning of each shift
  • Prepares shift’s accomplishment report and ensure proper turnover of work for the next shift
  • Implements good housekeeping using 5S tools
  • Motivates and uplifts the morale of all teammates
  • Implements company rules and regulations
  • Promotes safety and quality awareness and consciousness within the group
  • Promotes good working relationship among the group and to other groups as well
  • Monitors and controls overtime work
  • Empowers subordinates through training, education and evaluation
  • Operates machines and equipment on a daily basis as well as during operators absence
  • Performs other duties as required (meetings, reports, etc)
  • Preforms supervisor duties during supervisor’s absence.
