Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse person for a facility in the Vidor, TX area. This is a temporary 6-month position with a regular 4 10's schedule.
NO PER DIEM OR RELOCATION available. This is ideal for local candidates.

Requirements

• 1 year experience in an industrial warehouse
• Forklift Experience - Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
• Familiarity with oil and gas industry equipment, including valves, pumps, motors, and gaskets
• Must be able to effectively manage time and work independently
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
• Basic computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures
• Studies receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material handling activities
• May confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products
• May verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
