About The Position
Follow all safety requirements. Certify Hazardous Materials Shipping Documents to comply with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), International, and the Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and regulations. Staging material for loading ensuring proper bracing and blocking if required. Loading and unloading tanker trucks and railcars. Area cleanup. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year of related experience
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- Bulk truck and railcar loading and unloading experience is preferred
- DOT General Awareness training is preferred
Responsibilities
- Certify Hazardous Materials Shipping Documents to comply with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), International, and the Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and regulations.
- Staging material for loading ensuring proper bracing and blocking if required.
- Loading and unloading tanker trucks and railcars.
- Area cleanup.
- Prepare tanker & box trucks for shipments from plant.
- Ensure proper handling of production raw materials, including staging and loading.
