Job SummaryMoves materials within a warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks. Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory. Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. May view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. A01-Entry : Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Comfortable with order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good computer skills/Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in powder coating and painting is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Experience with general hand and power tools (i.e. drill guns, hammers, screwdrivers)
- Experience in assembling parts with training
- Receiving and Shipping – attention to detail is critical
- Receiving UPS and truck shipments – checking in and putting away, sorting to correct department
- RF Scanner, Cherry Picker, and Fork Truck - Experience
- Picking, packing, and shipping daily orders
- Returns processing
- UPS and Fed Ex shipping, LTL, domestic and international
