About The Position

Receive, identify, mark, process and issue material.  Maintain a variety of
records, files and reports: maintain records of materials and order supplies as
necessary. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for
audits. Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles: utilize a variety
of hand tools as required: Good organizational and time management skills.

Requirements

• One year experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
• NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment and information is available for the work.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Effective Math skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• If unsure about any aspect of the work or issues regarding safe practices, ask a supervisor before continuing.
