We are looking for a hardworking warehouse worker to manage and maintain our company’s inventory. In this role, you will be required fill shipping or transfer orders from stored merchandise in accordance with pull slip or other instructions, operate machinery, and ensure that the warehouse is organized and clean. Must use forklift to move materials. Requirements
- Must be L/B Water Forklift certified
- Knowledge of materials, part numbers and applications
- Knowledge of pipe Outside diameters
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Experience in operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Good organizational and time management skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker is preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s inventory
- Fill shipping or transfer orders from stored merchandise in accordance with pull slip or other instructions
- Operate machinery
- Ensure that the warehouse is organized and clean
- Use forklift to move materials
- Maintain open communication with warehouse manager
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Pick and fill orders from stock
- Check accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders
- Prepare trucks for deliveries with correctly pulled material
- Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers
- Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ensure warehouse and yard are kept neat and clean and takes pride in our appearance
- Help maintain property which may include mowing and snow removal
- Help maintain company vehicle appearance by washing and cleaning inside
- Work individually or as a team to perform assigned projects
- Treat co-workers with respect
- May make Non CDL truck deliveries
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
