About The Position

The Warehouse / Yard Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse and yard activities. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or yard environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Organizational skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
• Forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and yard operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Manage and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and yard to ensure compliance with company standards.
