Requirements

Strong focus on safety and awareness in high-traffic yard environments
Ability to climb in and out of tractors repeatedly and operate yard equipment confidently
Forklift experience or ability to become certified
Prior yard dog, CDL, or warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work in both cold (40°F) and freezer (-10°F) conditions as part of the job
Class A CDL required

Responsibilities

Safely move trailers between docks and yard locations to ensure timely flow of materials.
Operate a yard truck with precision in tight spaces and congested areas.
Place jack stands, wheel chocks, and glad hand locks properly and consistently.
Keep accurate logs and inspection reports for yard activities and vehicles.
Prep trailers for loading, clean as needed, and manage refrigerated trailer units.
Fill in as needed in freezer, cooler, or dock areas to maintain your skills and help your team.
