About The Position
The Warehouse Worker position at Hawkins Personnel Group is a full-time role based in San Antonio, TX, requiring a commitment to work Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime and half days on Saturday. The primary responsibilities of this role include receiving, storing, inspecting, and issuing materials from the assigned warehouses. The worker will be expected to package, palletize, and route materials to the appropriate areas using equipment such as pallet jacks, golf carts, or dollies. Excellent service to internal customers is essential, which involves effective deliveries and pickups through good teamwork. In addition to the core duties, the Warehouse Worker will perform physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring that stock locations support FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation and stock consolidation efforts. The role also involves reviewing receiving paperwork for correctness, resolving stock discrepancies, and issuing Kanban releases to replenish component inventory as required. The worker will audit open order reports to ensure timely delivery of units and spare orders, pick, pack, and inspect outbound shipments for accuracy, and order necessary warehouse supplies. Data entry functions are also part of the job, along with monitoring and correcting inbound or outbound shipments, researching and resolving negative reports, and providing support to various departments within the warehouse. Other duties and projects may be assigned as needed.
