Warehouse Worker I Shift: 2nd Shift Pay: $20.00 per hour The Warehouse Operator is responsible for safely handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing customer orders, and supporting overall warehouse operations in compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Basic proficiency or ability to learn Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., PRISM).

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift operation experience or certification.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all work instructions and safety rules without exception in all activities performed.
  • Execute internal product transfers using FIFO (First-In/First-Out) methodology.
  • Take raw material samples for Quality Control analysis when requested.
  • Store materials according to established procedures while ensuring proper stock rotation and safety compliance.
  • Notify the supervisor of any non-conforming or damaged materials received.
  • Safely load and unload trucks, containers, and road tankers (bulk and packaged materials).
  • Inspect trucks, containers, and tankers to confirm product integrity and prevent damage.
  • Prepare customer orders accurately and on time by pulling materials, packaging, and staging in the delivery area per procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation: Ensure all documents are signed and dated. Prevent loss or misplacement of paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and dispose of used containers in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Keep warehouse equipment clean and in good working condition; report defects to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with supervisors, coworkers, and cross-functional departments.
  • Complete daily forklift inspection checklists.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
