About The Position
Join Our Culinary Warehouse Team - Warehouse Associates Wanted! Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on an important role in a fast-paced warehouse setting? We're looking for reliable Wwarehouse Associates to join our team and help keep our operations running efficiently! What You'll Do: Receiving & Stocking: Accept deliveries, verify counts against receiving paperwork, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.• Internal Support: Deliver requested supplies to various internal departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Inventory Control: Review requisitions for proper codes and approval signatures. Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.• Stock Maintenance: Keep shelves organized, check for damaged or outdated items, and ensure products are stored appropriately.• Clean & Safe Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, free of debris and safety hazards.• Accurate Paperwork: Complete all related documentation accurately and on time, including stock counts, requisitions, and delivery records.• Measure & Store: Accurately measure and distribute products as needed, and return unused items to proper storage areas following proper procedures.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of lifting and moving products as required
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
- Prior warehouse experience is helpful, but not required
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must speak, read and write English
Nice To Haves
- Experience with inventory control and FIFO practices is a plus
- HACCP certification
- HiLo/Forklift certification
- Unblemished Driver license or Forklift certification
- Experience working in high volume warehouse preferred
