About The Position

Walk Pickers are responsible for picking appropriate items from stock inventory for redistribution to various locations in the facility. Walk Pickers are critical in ensuring products are distributed appropriately to various other teams around the facility. Manually pick products off shelves to fill orders. Transport in-progress orders to location of next item on order list Lift products manually Scan products using Radio Frequency (RF) units Determine order information using Radio Frequency (RF) units Fill boxes with packaging materials to avoid order damage Lift products to place them in boxes Follow safety procedures for equipment use to reduce potential for accidents Count product quantities to fill orders Transport picked orders to packing station to be prepared for shipping Build appropriate (correct size) box based on order, weight, and size Label boxes with barcodes for product and order tracking Understand safety procedures for picking products off shelves Follow packaging procedures for pallets to fill large orders Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning Clean factory to maintain proper work environment Review manifests, invoices, and orders to ensure accurate orders Examine products to ensure damaged products are not shipped Lift products to place them on pallet Lift things from ground level to a level of 3 feet

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC (50 miles) will be considered for this position
