About The Position
VSI is seeking a reliable and motivated Night Shift Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions and play a key part in ensuring accurate, efficient operations. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and dependability are essential. This shift starts at 6:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Ability to move heavier items (up to 2,000 lbs) using equipment
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and moderate to high noise levels
- Employees must be able to perform their duties without impairment to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Operate scanner guns and other warehouse tools and equipment
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas
- Ensure all work meets VSI quality standards and productivity goals
- Follow all safety policies and warehouse procedures
- Assist with refrigeration unit duties and product stocking as needed
- Use computers for data entry, inventory tracking, and reporting (as required)
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, and management to support operations
- Maintain professional conduct, strong attendance, and reliability
- Work overtime as needed
