LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join their warehouse Returns department in Plainfield. This role is for an immediate hire and requires a dedicated, passionate, and detail-oriented associate who wants to make a difference, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Up to 1 year of work related experience.
  • Ability to operate a forklift/orderpicker is a plus and meet medium level physical exertion requirements, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
  • Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner in front of customers.
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic.
  • Works well in a team environment and be willing to work extra hours depending on business needs.
  • Display a positive and helpful attitude, and a commitment to providing a successful organization.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Warehouse, or similar, work environment
  • Prior order picker experience required.
  • Prior forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Checking in parts from route drivers at a fast an accurate pace.
  • Quality control is imperative so all parts must be inspected before stocked and resold.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies between actual parts and associated documents.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information regarding returned parts.
  • Putting away all returned parts using an order picker at an acceptable rate.
  • Able to make independent decisions throughout your shift.
  • Maintain an open mind for new ideas and change.
  • Must be a strong team player.
  • Communicate problems, concerns and ideas to management.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
