About The Position

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Mid-Morning/Day Warehouse Worker in Austell, GA. Hiring Immediately! $20.00 Hourly Monday through Thursday 9am to 6:30pm Friday - 8aam to 12pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities This person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery. Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include SAP and KEA. Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries. Replenishes inventory lines as needed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary. Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts, Slip Sheet, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc). Assist with counting of inventory. Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team lead and management. Other duties as assigned by the Morning Manager, Supervisor, and Lead.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift Certificate - Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities
