About The Position
American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for a Warehouse Worker for Night Shift for our location in Henderson, Nevada. Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. M-F. Previous Warehouse Experience with heavy objects. Must be able to lift chairs, couches, tables, lamps, etc. Load and unload furniture from trucks. Have a clean background and able to pass pre-employment drug test(12panel) $17.50 Per Hour. Please attach a comprehensive well formatted resume.. Responsibilities
- Unload/Load trucks using a scan gun
- Compare driver’s paperwork to NAV
- Check NAV to ensure all has been collected – if not search offload
- Post all collections and deliveries
- Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard
- Touch Up and reclass merchandise in warehouse
- Lift carry and place product into and take out of racks
- Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
- Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.
- Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
- Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.
- Fill customer order in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place a copy with the merchandise for shipment.
- Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate
- Operate forklift, palette jack and hand trucks.
- Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace
- All warehouse personnel are required to sweep up and remove / dispose of debris.
- Follow safety procedures in accordance with training, and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
