About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Stock, pick, and package all parts promptly and correctly. Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, stocker picker, hose assembly machine and other parts related vehicles. Perform various warehouse functions. Adapt to and support multifunctional teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Fills orders from stock and package parts. Delivers parts to proper areas designated by the shipping code on the Parts Sales Order (PSO). Replenishes shelf stock. Pulls PSO in the order assigned by lead person with less than 1 error per 3500 line items pulled. Pulls, on average, at least 400 line items per day or equivalent. Fabricates hoses and/or battery cables. Assists in the training of new employees. Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Keeps Shipping and Receiving areas, docks, bays, and warehouse clean and neat at all times. Loads common carrier and company truck shipments. Ensures trucks are properly loaded and secured. Coordinates parts pulling function as necessary. Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Stays involved in problem solving, budget, scheduling, customer service, training, and quality. Performs a pre-operational check of forklifts and stocker pickers before using them. Works within and promotes corporate values.

Requirements

  • Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment
  • Must be able and willing to learn about Warranty, Unit Exchange, Warehouse functions, and products sold
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse environment
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English
