The Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within the plant, contributing to Amcor's mission by ensuring efficient and safe handling of products.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good English writing & speaking skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Basic computer systems knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments
  • Assembles finished goods orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures
  • Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs
  • Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures
  • Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders
  • Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials
  • Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors
  • Restocks corrugated and production’s needs
  • Works with Production and Customer Service departments
  • Assembles loads for other facilities as needed
  • Assists in training of new employees
  • Supports & complies with safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
