About The Position

The warehouse worker is responsible for safely, efficiently and accurately receiving, recording, sorting, storing, and stacking inbound freight and preparing outbound freight. This is an active position - workers must be able to stand on their feet, bend, stoop, climb, reach, push, pull, lift and carry 50 pounds while moving about the warehouse for the majority of their shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Able to stand and walk on feet on cement floor for up to eight (8) hours per day
Able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, push, pull, lift and carry 50 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 70 pounds
Able to climb and descend stairs and ladders
Able to count to 200, add, subtract, multiply and divide
Able to work a flexible schedule - some position may include weekends
Must be at least 18 years old
pass a drug test prior to first day of work
pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record prior to first day of work
prove eligibility to work in the United States
pass a TSA Security Threat Assessment

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently receive freight and maintain accurate records
Accurately sort freight to appropriate destination in a time sensitive situation
Store freight as required by clients
Prepare freight for shipment
Maintain warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
Establish and maintain courteous business relationships with drivers, customers, clients and co-workers
Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed, professional appearance including proper uniform
Maintain excellent work habits including attendance, punctuality and safety
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines
Perform other duties as required
