The primary focus of a warehouse worker is to provide a high level of customer service to field operations while meeting defined quality and on-time performance standards. A warehouse worker must work safely while adapting to the changing needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid California Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to physically perform all requirements noted on the Physical Requirements document for warehouse worker
  • Follow standard works documentation
  • Clock in to start work on time (not one minute late)
  • Maintain a professional attitude
  • Pull 35 lines per hour after first 30 days of employment
  • Pull 45 lines per hour after first 90 days of employment
  • Work well with other team members, sub-contractors, and customers
  • Maintain good attendance and performance standing to be eligible for transfer or promotion

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred
  • HVAC and plumbing parts knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Pull warehouse orders according to documented standard works using a RF terminal
  • Load Villara delivery vehicles according to routing instructions and standard work
  • Support our field operation with precise order fulfillment
  • Move materials within the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and address potential workplace hazards
  • Perform other duties as communicated by the Outbound Supervisor
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by providing accurate feedback to the leadership team
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and shifts
  • Committed to creating and participating in a positive workplace culture
  • Capable of providing excellent internal and external customer interactions
  • Committed to arriving on time and ready to work
  • Committed to follow safety procedures
  • Communicate problems encountered as they pertain to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery standards
