About The Position

Metals USA is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Wooster, OH location. Metals USA is a leading metals processor/distributor in North America, providing a wide range of carbon steel products and services. Metals USA is a solid, growth-oriented company servicing the defense, commercial construction, and road construction and fabrication industries.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Basic math Skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail
• Must have Forklift and overhead crane experience

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience preferred
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Locates products that have been completed in a first step process
• Order filling
• Packages product
• Scales and tags product
• Uses plant specific packaging equipment which includes conveyors, stackers, down enders and banders to move product
• Transports items to the warehouse for future shipment
• Requires operation of an overhead crane and forklift to move product
• Can identify defects and package the designated items
• May perform other duties as related or assigned
