The position involves preparing equipment for local transport, attaching necessary shipping documents, updating inventory spreadsheets, and detailing shipments in SNOW tasks. It also requires maintaining shipping records and managing duplicate requests by investigating and pulling appropriate equipment. The role includes ensuring all local and off-site shipping documents contain specific information such as box and equipment counts, pallet numbers, asset numbers, and SNOW ticket details. For off-site shipments to assigned depots, a SNOW transfer order must be created. The work environment is on-site in a warehouse in Tucson, AZ, emphasizing in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support employee well-being and productivity. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizens (due to ITAR compliance)
  • Forklift certification is required

Responsibilities

  • Work with the local client dock employees to ensure the equipment is properly prepared for local transport to the designated building.
  • Attach one local movement document and one off-site shipping document (if applicable) to each pallet or box being shipped.
  • Update the depot’s inventory spreadsheet to show what equipment has been shipped.
  • Update the SNOW task by listing the local movement document number, off-site shipping document number (if applicable), transfer order number (if applicable), asset numbers, and a description of the items shipped.
  • Keep all shipping documents for depot records and attach them to the SNOW/email request before filing.
  • Place the task on hold for further investigation if a request is identified as a duplicate.
  • Review the information in the SNOW request or email and pull the appropriate equipment as specified.
  • Ensure all local movement documents include: Number of boxes, Number of equipment items, Number of pallets, List of asset numbers, SNOW ticket number (if applicable), Description of all other items being shipped.
  • Ensure off-site shipping documents include the same information as the local movement document if equipment is being shipped off-site.
  • Create a SNOW transfer order to account for all assets being shipped if equipment is being shipped off-site to an assigned depot.
