Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area. Prepares donated items, not suitable for display in store, to be processed through the salvage program which includes operating, inventorying, and maintaining textile bailer. Other Responsibilities (5%) May assist in answering the telephone; provides general information and records messages. Prepares receipts for donations. Drive Salvation Army vehicle for donation pickups when needed. Assist customers with loading purchases. Locking/unlocking yard gate and assisting customers with items in yard. Performs other duties as assigned.
