About The Position

The position involves working shifts from Sunday to Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 5 PM to 5 AM. The primary function is to learn various customer product specifications and work on production lines to sort incoming raw products such as peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. This critical function is responsible for maximizing the usage of incoming products by ensuring that all products that meet the specifications go into a finished package, while any product that does not meet the specifications gets properly sorted and separated. Requirements

• Previous experience working with produce or in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to learn and retain a wealth of product and customer knowledge.
• Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly.
• Manual dexterity: ability to work with hands for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Learn and memorize general and customer-oriented specifications for raw product.
• Utilize learned specifications to quickly and accurately sort raw product.
